A consultation is a private conversation about your circumstances.

It gives you the opportunity to explain what has happened and what you would like help with before deciding whether to proceed with spiritual work.

What Happens During the Consultation?

1. You Explain Your Situation

Begin by telling Carlos what has happened.

You can explain the history of your relationship, what has changed and what you would like to see happen.

There is no need to exaggerate or present your situation in a particular way.

Honest information helps Carlos understand the circumstances more accurately.

Carlos takes time to understand the situation before recommending a service.

He may ask questions about:

• your relationship
• the history of the situation
• communication between the people involved
• what has already happened
• what you have already tried
• what you are hoping to achieve

The purpose is not to judge you.

It is to understand your circumstances.

3. Your Situation Is Assessed

After listening, Carlos considers whether your request falls within his area of practice and whether he genuinely believes he can assist.

Not every situation is suitable for spiritual work.

If Carlos believes another form of support would be more appropriate, he may tell you so.

If Carlos believes he can assist, he will explain the service he considers relevant.

We do not believe people should be pressured into spiritual services.

An extended consultation gives you more time to explain your circumstances and discuss the situation in greater detail.

• you have many questions
• you need more time to discuss your circumstances privately

The consultation itself is not a guarantee that spiritual work will be recommended.

You do not need to travel to Uganda simply to have an initial consultation.

The specific communication method and payment arrangements will be explained during the enquiry process.

Do I Need to Send a Photograph?

A photograph may sometimes be requested where Carlos believes it is relevant to the traditional work being considered.

However, do not send unnecessary personal documents or sensitive information.

Never send:

• passwords
• banking PINs
• complete card details
• account passwords
• unnecessary identity documents

If specific information is required, you will be told what is needed and why.

What We Will Never Promise

A consultation is not a promise that a particular outcome will occur.

We cannot guarantee:

• that an ex will return
• that someone will fall in love with you
• that someone will contact you
• that someone will remain faithful
• that a relationship will be restored
• that a marriage will occur
• that another person will change
• that a particular result will happen within a specific number of days

Human beings make their own choices.

When We May Decline a Request

Carlos may decline a request when he believes it is inappropriate or outside his area of practice.

This may include requests involving:

• attempts to control or manipulate another person’s behaviour
• medical emergencies
• serious mental-health concerns
• situations requiring professional intervention

If your situation involves immediate danger, violence or a medical or mental-health emergency, seek appropriate professional or emergency assistance.

We understand that relationship problems can involve sensitive personal information.

When contacting HerbalHealer, share only information that is necessary to explain your situation.

You should feel comfortable asking questions about privacy and how your information is handled before providing sensitive details.
